Pottery Studio Shelves

Open wooden shelves hold the everyday stock of a working pottery studio. Deep blue jars, green bowls and speckled cream cups sit among stacks of plates, while rows of warm terracotta pieces wait below without glaze. Brushes and wooden tools fill old pots near the window, and a wheel with one unfinished bowl occupies the corner of the bench.

Dark glazed vessels make strong landmarks across the upper shelves, and the long boards help divide the room into manageable bands. From there, rim shapes, handles and changes in clay color lead naturally through the smaller pieces. Brushes need a closer look because their handles gather in several places, but bristle shapes and the containers around them keep those groups distinct.
