About Jigsaway

Who we are

Jigsaway is run by a small group of jigsaw puzzle fans. It started as a hobby and it still is one. We work on it in our spare time because we enjoy puzzles and wanted a good place to do them online.

We like small puzzles and big ones, from a quick 100 pieces in a short break to a 1000-piece scene that fills a long evening. The site is built for both.

Why we made it

We wanted to open a puzzle and start playing straight away, with no sign-up first and a board that stays clear. That is why you can play here without an account. Your progress is kept in your browser, and the pieces are laid out where they are easy to see and pick up.

We also wanted to do puzzles with friends who live far away, so we built rooms. Everyone at the table sees the same board and places pieces on it together.

What you can do here

There is a new daily puzzle every day, and the puzzles go from 4 to 1000 pieces. You can do one alone, open a room and share the link, or turn your own photo into a puzzle on the create page.

If you like a timer, finishes go on the leaderboards. If you do not, untimed mode lets you take as long as you want.

How we choose the puzzles

Every picture in the catalog is picked by hand. Before a puzzle goes live we look at it at full size and read its page from top to bottom, so the description matches the picture.

We add new puzzles every week. Members can also send their own pictures, and we check each one before it is shared with everyone.

Free to play

Playing on Jigsaway is free. An account is free as well. It keeps your games when you switch devices, saves your finishes and puts your times on the leaderboards.
