Blueberry Bushes beside a Potting Shed

Blueberries hang in small dusty clusters beside the potting shed. Their cool color sits among glossy leaves, terracotta pots and the warm gray boards of the wall. A pair of pruning shears rests on the bench, while dappled light reaches the path between the bushes.

The berries are not all the same blue. Ripe fruit carries a pale bloom, whereas shadowed clusters turn almost violet. Shed boards run in long horizontal strips, with knots breaking the pattern at useful intervals. Sort the terracotta rims separately from the deeper pot shadows, then use the path's irregular edge to bring the garden together.
