Mosaic Glass Workshop

Colored glass covers a mosaic maker's workbench around a half-finished floral panel. Red, blue, cream and yellow petals sit inside dark grout lines, while green leaves spread toward an open section of the design. Wooden trays hold separate piles of amber, cobalt, coral and pale blue glass. Tile nippers, a brush, grout bowl and paper guide show that the work has paused mid-cut.

Finished petals sit beside a section where the maker's drawn guide is still visible. That unfinished edge is a useful boundary between loose materials and the picture taking shape. Glass in the trays has sharp, irregular outlines; pieces already set into the mosaic are separated by dark grout. The same blue appears in both places, but its surroundings reveal which part of the bench it belongs to.
