Mossy Steps through a Fern Bed

Mossy steps climb through a fern bed, each worn tread partly hidden by fronds and damp green growth. Soil, stone chips and a shaded path create useful changes around the stairway.

Follow the step edges from bottom to top, keeping each tread as a compact group. Fern pieces sort by frond direction; moss and soil can fill the gaps after the stairs establish perspective. Step corners repeat at changing heights, giving the mossy climb a dependable order from foreground upward.
