Saturn Rings over an Icy Moon

Pale rings sweep diagonally across a black sky above an icy landscape. A small research lander stands near the foreground, casting a long shadow beside tracks in the frost. This is an imagined view from a moon near Saturn, not a photograph of an existing mission. Ridges, scattered rocks and shallow depressions cover the blue-gray ground beneath the enormous bands overhead.

Thin dark divisions run between the brighter ring bands, all following the same broad diagonal. On the ground, the lander's legs and the tracks point in different directions. Shadows stretch much farther than the objects casting them, which can help connect otherwise isolated pieces of rock or equipment. The ice contains fine ridges, but some sky areas have little detail; those become the slower sections at higher piece counts.
