Screen-Printing Studio

Fresh prints hang from a line above a screen-printing table crowded with the tools that made them. Wooden frames lean against the wall, their worn edges stained by older colors. Bright ink tubs sit open near a blue mesh screen and a broad rubber squeegee. On the table, plant shapes, sun circles and wave patterns overlap across loose sheets of paper.

The image has several kinds of repetition without becoming a flat pattern. Paper edges create clean rectangles, while ink stains and scratched wood break into smaller marks. The blue screen at the front differs from the printed blue flower beside it because the mesh catches light differently.
