Village Bakery

Morning light reaches an open bakery window crowded with bread and pastries. Round country loaves fill the upper shelves, baguettes lie in baskets on the middle shelf and fruit tarts add small red highlights among the warm crusts. Flowers and a table beside the display soften the dark green shopfront.

Round loaves have curved flour-dusted crusts, while the baguettes in their baskets make longer shapes on the middle shelf. Shelf edges divide both from the smaller tarts and pastries below. Fruit brings brighter red and purple patches into the bread's warm browns. Outside the window, a basket and flowers catch more daylight than the dim shop interior. Rough crust, woven wicker and smooth painted wood can share a color without sharing a texture.
