Badminton Shuttlecocks on a Bench

Badminton shuttlecocks lie across a wooden bench, their white feather skirts and cork heads making compact groups. Racket strings, bench grain and a strip of court beyond add fine directional marks.

Build each shuttlecock from its cork and feather ring, then use bench seams to place the group. Keep white feathers apart by angle and shadow; the court can close the background. Feather skirts repeat in different angles, but cork heads make each shuttlecock easy to identify. Netting and feather texture distinguish nearby pieces with similar white tones.
