Butterfly on a Child's Hand

A colorful butterfly rests on an open child’s hand in a flower garden, with only the hand visible.

The open hand is a simple warm shape beneath the butterfly and gives the image a clear centre. Keep the wing markings separate from the skin tones, then use finger lines and flower stems to place the lower pieces. The garden remains soft and anonymous, with no face to distract from the small encounter. The smaller details in butterfly on a child's hand reward close looking, especially after the broad shapes have found their places.
