Curious Kitty

A tabby cat leans toward the camera beside a sunny window, head tilted and eyes fixed on something just out of view. Broad green eyes, long white whiskers and a pink-brown nose fill the foreground. Behind the cat, books and houseplants turn the familiar room into a softer background of warm wood and fresh leaves.

The eyes are an obvious place to begin, followed by the nose, muzzle and pale inner ears. Stripes around the forehead change direction as they reach the cheeks, which helps separate similar brown pieces. The bright window edge outlines the left side of the face, while the bookcase provides straight shelf lines on the right. Plant leaves have smoother green shapes than the busier fur. Once the face is complete, those surrounding objects give the remaining whiskers and ear edges clear positions.
