Herd at Sunset on the Prairie

A herd of horses stands in silhouette against an orange prairie sunset and a broad open horizon.

The horses are mostly silhouettes, so their ears, legs and tails matter more than coat color. Assemble the prairie line underneath them, then work upward through the orange sky. Low grasses add dark marks near the bottom, giving the broad sunset a few anchors before the last pieces go in. With a larger piece count, keep herd at sunset on the prairie together as one reference group until the surrounding colors have settled.
