T. Rex on a Ridge

A T. rex stands calmly on a rocky ridge looking over a green prehistoric valley, impressive but not attacking.

The ridge line and the T. rex silhouette keep this scene calm and easy to orient. Start with the head, back and rocky foreground, then separate the green valley from the distant haze. There is no action to follow here, so the challenge comes from scales, stone and the layered landscape. Once t. rex on a ridge is taking shape, the less varied pieces around it become easier to judge by edge and tone.
