Orion Nebula Star Field

Pink, violet and blue clouds spread around a bright central glow in this illustration inspired by the Orion Nebula. Dark branching lanes pass through the colored gas, and scattered stars range from tiny white points to larger blue lights. It is a creative space image rather than a telescope observation or labeled astronomical chart. Dense color near the middle gives way to darker star fields at the edges.

Brightness alone will not identify every star fragment. A small point of light may have blue haze on one side or sit against a nearly black gap between clouds. Those surroundings make it more distinctive. The darkest lanes divide the colored regions into irregular branches, while the glowing center has softer boundaries. At a larger piece count, the sparse corners will demand more attention to shape than the saturated middle.
