About the Pastel Sketches of Market Vegetables jigsaw puzzle
Soft pastels are nearly pure pigment held together with a little binder, which is why their colors are so strong and their dust gets on everything. Artists often work on toned paper, so the light strokes stand out as highlights. A quick pastel study of market vegetables lies on gray paper with the real ones close at hand, giving the pastel drawing jigsaw puzzle two versions of everything. Finished pastels stay fragile, so they are usually framed under glass.
