Rooftop Water Tanks at Blue Hour

Street traffic is out of sight from this rooftop. Wooden water tanks rise above brick parapets, their metal legs crossing the lit windows of neighboring buildings. Ladders and vents fill the nearer roofs while the evening sky leaves just enough light to read the timber staves.

Each tank has a similar silhouette but a different apparent size. Sort the curved rims with that scale in mind instead of combining every brown strip. Window grids offer a second way into the puzzle, especially where a support leg cuts across a bright pane. Those intersections connect the skyline's separate structures more reliably than the broad blue sky between them.
