Travel Jigsaw Puzzles

A good travel puzzle lets you spend time with a place instead of simply passing through it. A landmark may draw you in, but streets, roof shapes, boats, vegetation and the quality of the light are what make the finished view memorable. Coastal scenes, old towns and wide landscapes all offer a different rhythm on the board.

The view matters more than whether you have visited the destination. A familiar street can bring back a memory, but an unfamiliar harbor offers just as much to look at: mooring lines, painted boats, steps worn into stone. Compare the amount of close detail before choosing a board size. A crowded street and an open coastal view can feel like very different puzzles at the same count.
