Travel Jigsaw Puzzles

A good travel puzzle lets you spend time with a place instead of simply passing through it. A landmark may draw you in, but streets, roof shapes, boats, vegetation and the quality of the light are what make the finished view memorable. Coastal scenes, old towns and wide landscapes all offer a different rhythm on the board.

Find the detail that belongs most clearly to the destination and build outward from it. Local stone, paving, windows and shoreline shapes keep similar colors from blending together. Leave broad sky or water until the character of the place is established; those quieter sections then have a clear boundary to follow.
