Orange Ferry at a Foggy Pier

The orange ferry is the only strong color in the morning fog. Dark windows sit above a bright hull, while a coiled rope lies beside the bollard on the wet pier. Water and sky almost meet, separated by a few soft pilings and the boat's low reflection.

Build the hull from its long upper edge and the darker line beneath it. Windows repeat, but their reflections are not identical because the fog changes their tone. Pier planks have straight seams and wet highlights. The rope is a small textured group that can connect boat and dock once the larger gray areas stop looking interchangeable.
