Team Puzzle Table

Three people sit together along the far side of a wooden table, smiling down at a partly assembled jigsaw. Loose pieces spread across the surface between their hands. Their clothes separate them against the bookshelves behind: a cream sweater on the left, green in the middle and navy on the right. Potted plants stand on the windowsill at the left, and a framed landscape and a lamp fill the wall on the right, with daylight reaching the table from the window.

The three sweaters make the easiest groups, and their hands lead down into the tabletop. There, the loose puzzle pieces make a much finer pattern of small blue, green and brown shapes, and that busy strip across the middle is the hardest part. Behind the players, books stand in narrow vertical rows on horizontal shelves. Those straight lines help separate the room from the scattered pieces in the middle of the picture.
