Architecture Jigsaw Puzzles

Built structures give a puzzle strong lines, clear proportions and a real sense of perspective. Arches, rooflines, towers and doorways form the framework, while stone, brick, glass and timber add the close detail that makes a larger board satisfying. Even a repeated row of windows changes as light and distance alter its shape.

Begin with the silhouette and the longest structural lines. Once the main building or bridge is steady, use trim, shadows and material changes to place the more repetitive sections. The structure then becomes a map for everything around it, whether the remaining pieces show pavement, trees, water or open sky.
