Windmill Path through Coastal Dunes

The path winds through marram grass toward a small white-sailed windmill above the dunes. Sand ripples catch the low sun, and the blue sea opens behind the pale ridge. Grass bends over the track in thin clumps, keeping the foreground from becoming one flat field.

The four sails create a strong central group, but each one has a different angle and shadow. Path edges offer a route from foreground to windmill. Sand pieces should be sorted by ripple direction and the small dark pockets between them. Save the sea and sky until the dune crest is complete, since their broad colors can otherwise swallow the horizon.
