Brown Bear Cubs beside a River

The two cubs stand at the edge of the river, their wet fur clumped into fine dark strands. The larger one looks left from a mossy stone, while the smaller cub steps through the shallow water beside it. A fallen log runs behind them under hanging spruce branches.

The river gives this picture most of its movement. White water breaks around the rocks, then settles into clear pools near the front. Pink and grey stones show through the surface, each with a different shape and shine. Farther back, the spruce forest climbs into mist, so the puzzle shifts from sharp fur and bark to softer green slopes.
