Brown Bear Cubs beside a River

Brown bear cubs are born tiny and almost hairless in the winter den. They then stay with their mother for two or three years, learning to fish and forage. Two soaked cubs pick their way over the rocks of a fast forest river, a bear cub jigsaw puzzle with plenty of wet fur. When their mother finally sends them off, brothers and sisters sometimes stick together for a while before going their own ways.
