Color Wheel Mosaic Tiles

Small ceramic and glass tiles form a loose color wheel, moving from reds and oranges into yellow, green, blue and violet. Some pieces are square, others chipped at the edges, and thin grout lines keep the pattern from looking flat. Glossy highlights sit beside matte surfaces, so each color band carries its own texture.

Warm reds and oranges are easy to separate from the cooler blues, but the interesting work happens where one hue slips into the next. Grout seams create tiny borders across the whole image, and chipped corners break up the more regular rows. Pale highlights on glossy tiles give extra clues when neighboring colors start to feel close.
