Colorful Streets

Painted houses in violet, red, yellow and blue line a lively pedestrian street. Umbrellas hang overhead, cafe chairs sit along the walls and flower pots add smaller bursts of color near the doors. The broad path through the middle keeps the dense palette from becoming chaotic.

On the left, violet walls surround pink door frames and turquoise doors, while brighter blue and orange facades line the opposite side. Recessed doorways cast different shadows from the flat painted walls around them. Umbrellas hang above the lane at several angles, with thin wires linking the spaces between buildings. At ground level, chairs and flower pots interrupt the straight storefront edges. The pavement narrows toward the far end, carrying quieter patches of color beneath the much brighter walls.
