Ember Fox

A red fox curls its tail around its body in an illustrated autumn woodland. Copper fur glows against deep green and blue foliage, with a white cheek and dark ears defining the face. Ferns and fallen leaves surround the animal. Small shafts of warm light enter between the trees behind it.

The tail forms a broad curve across the foreground, covered in fine strands that follow its bend. Facial fur is shorter and changes direction around the muzzle. Ferns repeat smaller leaflets on either side of narrow stems, unlike the fox's softer coat. Gold leaves and orange fur share warm colors, but one has crisp outlines while the other breaks into individual hairs.
