English Cottage Garden Path

The foxgloves have grown taller than the garden wall. Their pink bells lean over a brick path that curves towards a pale green gate, with daisies spilling out of the beds below. Roses climb the cottage wall on the right, almost reaching the gutter. A watering can sits beneath them, tucked beside a flowerpot.

There is plenty of green here, though the clipped hedge has a much tighter texture than the loose planting along the path. The white window frame gives you a useful place to start on the cottage. Follow the brickwork down from the gate and the path gradually widens, with little seams of moss interrupting its uneven rows.
