About Summer puzzles

Shade gives the brightest scenes their shape. The underside of a leaf, the space beneath a table or a boat's reflection can be much darker than the surface beside it. Fine shadows beneath railings repeat the spacing of the bars. Near water, ripples break those strong contrasts into smaller marks, while clear shallows reveal the ground below.
