Garden Shed with Flower Pots

The shed door is open, with a straw hat hanging from its faded blue boards. Inside, long-handled tools lean beside shelves of pots and a pair of boots. Outside is a busier corner. Seedlings share the bench with stacks of terracotta pots, a ball of twine and a trowel.

Purple clematis winds around the white window frame, above red flowers and two metal watering cans. Those bright patches make good starting points, but the shed has plenty of smaller details too. Flaking paint reveals wood beneath the blue, and reflected branches divide the windowpanes. At ground level, loose gravel meets old bricks scattered with fallen pink petals.
