First Snow on Orchard Apples

Red apples still hang from bare orchard branches after a thin first snow. The nearest trunk fills the left side, rough with bark, moss and small patches of white. Snow sits on top of the apples and branches, while droplets hang from a few twigs in the cold light.

Two wooden picking ladders stand deeper in the orchard, one near the center and one on the right. Frosted grass covers the ground, with a low stone wall and pale trees beyond it. The red fruit gives you easy landmarks at first. After that, the puzzle turns into a web of grey branches, snow edges, ladder rails and soft winter background shapes.
