French Macarons

Rows of French macarons fill a small bakery window in soft afternoon light. Raspberry pink, lemon yellow, pistachio green and chocolate brown shells sit in neat lines, with a few gift boxes and folded paper trays tucked behind them. The smooth tops, ruffled feet and pale cream fillings give each color more detail than a simple candy pattern.

Start with the strongest color groups, then use the cream bands to connect each row. Pink and yellow pieces sort quickly, while the chocolate shells need help from their shadows and box edges. Near the end, the repeated circles get slower, but small cracks, filling thickness and reflections on the glass give the puzzle enough clues.
