Herb Garden Terracotta Pots

Terracotta pots line a gravel path beside an old brick wall, each one crowded with a different herb. Basil leaves shine in the front, rosemary rises in narrow stems through the center, and soft sage sits farther back. Mint, thyme, plain wooden markers, garden twine and a small metal watering can fill the quieter edges.

The herbs are not one uniform patch of green. Broad basil leaves sit beside narrow rosemary needles, softer sage and the much smaller leaves of thyme. Curved pot rims repeat through the arrangement, with weathered pale marks on the terracotta. A watering can provides a smooth gray surface beside the gravel. These differences in leaf shape and material give the smaller pieces something more specific to match than green or brown.
