Lotus Temple

An old stone sanctuary stands in a lantern-lit forest courtyard, with worn steps leading down to a lotus pond. Carved doorways and columns emerge from climbing vines, while pink blossoms and small flames reflect in the still water. Start with the warm doorway and the main flight of steps. Their straight lines establish the building before the darker carvings begin to repeat. Lanterns around the pond create a trail of gold through the lower half, and the lotus flowers are easy landmarks among green reflections. Keep upright columns separate from their broken copies in the water. The canopy closes tightly over the ruins, leaving only small cool gaps between the leaves. The deepest forest shadows require a closer look, but trailing vines, leaf shapes and patches of carved stone keep the final pieces grounded in real detail.
