Manta Ray beneath a Blue Shelf

The manta ray spreads its wings beneath a blue coral shelf, leaving clear water around the broad silhouette. Pale markings show on the underside, and small fish gather near the shadowed reef edge. Sunbeams reach down in broken columns and soften before they touch the deeper blue.

The wing tips give the animal a wide frame, but the inner curves are more useful for connecting pieces. Pale belly marks vary in shape and spacing, so keep them with the body sections they cross. Reef textures are sharper than the open water. Sort fish by their direction of travel after the ray has a complete outline.
