Observatory Dome under Winter Stars

A small stone observatory stands at the end of a snowy path, its dome dusted with frost and its doorway glowing amber. Dark pines frame the scene, while a mountain lake and distant peaks stretch across the middle ground. Above them, a clear winter sky is crowded with stars and a soft band of the Milky Way.

The dome and warm doorway give you two obvious starting points. From there, use the stone blocks, fence posts and path edges to build the foreground before moving into the blue snow. The mountains are layered in different shades, and the lake repeats their lights in broken reflections. The star field is broad, but its subtle clouds keep the dark pieces varied.
