Samoyed in Fresh Snow

A fluffy white Samoyed stands in fresh snow beneath frosted evergreens, with its curled tail lifted above the powder. A quiet lake and distant mountain peaks open behind the trees, while small paw prints cross the foreground. Cool blue shadows sit under the dog and along the low shrubs, giving the white scene enough contrast.

The Samoyed’s face, ears and tail are the best starting points because their edges are easy to recognize. Then separate the fur from the snow by following the soft shadows and fine strands around the legs. Snow-heavy branches build a darker frame on both sides, while the lake and mountains form long, pale layers behind the dog.
