Toy Dinosaurs on a Playroom Floor

Colorful toy dinosaurs, wooden blocks and a play mat form a cheerful top-down playroom scene.

The top-down view makes the play mat and block edges good places to begin. Sort the toy dinosaurs by color and silhouette, then use their shadows to check which way each one is facing. Wood grain, fabric and plastic have very different surfaces, so this small scene offers more variety than its simple arrangement suggests. The details around toy dinosaurs on a playroom floor give the picture enough landmarks to keep the quiet areas from feeling empty.
