Zebra Herd on the Savanna

A zebra herd stands in dry savanna grass beneath a blue sky dotted with small clouds. Several animals face forward, while others turn sideways or gather farther back. An acacia spreads its canopy on the right, above a low line of distant trees. The nearest zebras show much larger markings than those near the horizon.

Stripes curve around shoulders and narrow across faces, changing direction from one animal to the next. Where bodies overlap, the outline of a neck or ear helps identify which zebra a fragment belongs to. Dry grass fills the gaps between their legs in thin golden stalks. Above the herd, the sky is a slower section with fewer shapes to distinguish its blue pieces.
