About the Checkerboard Paper Fans jigsaw puzzle
These paper fans overlap in a loose pile of red, cream and teal. Each checkerboard bends along the pleats, so the squares narrow near the folds and widen toward the scalloped edge. Small shadows between the fans show which one sits on top without making the arrangement feel heavy.
The straight pleats are helpful until they meet a curved rim. Follow the changing width of a square across that turn, then check the shadow beneath it. Similar teal patches can belong to different fans, but their crease direction will separate them. Leave the coral background for later; its broad open pieces are easier once the paper edges have taken shape.
