Covered Bridge in Autumn

An old red covered bridge runs across a rocky stream beneath a canopy of autumn leaves. The paint has faded in places, and moss softens the stone wall beside the water. Orange maples crowd the bank while the dark entrance and white trim pull your eye toward the bridge.

Start with the red siding, roofline and open doorway. The stone wall leads naturally into the stream, where bright water breaks around the rocks. Leaves and reflections make the last part a little slower, but the shifts from orange to gold keep it from feeling repetitive.
