Indigo Sashiko Stitch Sampler

Six indigo fabric squares sit on a worn wooden table, each stitched with a different white pattern. One panel carries rows of small waves, another is built from diamonds, and another is a simple grid. A spool of thread, a needle and loose white thread rest near the upper edge.

The stitches are raised just enough to catch the light, so they stand apart from the dark woven cloth. Frayed edges make each square feel handmade rather than printed. The wave panel has short curved dashes, while the star panel is full of tiny crossing lines. Between them, the table grain and folded fabric give the puzzle warmer brown and blue areas to break up the repeating white thread.
