Lisbon Tram on a Tiled Street jigsaw puzzle
A yellow tram occupies a narrow Lisbon street between tiled facades, iron balconies and sun-worn plaster. Blue-and-white tiles cover the left wall, while laundry hangs above the tracks farther along the street. Rails pass between doorways and chipped stone steps. Their narrowing lines draw the eye beyond the tram toward the buildings at the top of the frame.
Yellow paint makes the tram easy to pick out, but the street has its own useful geometry. Rails converge as they climb the hill, balconies project from the walls, and rows of tiles follow the flat face of each building. A window on the left will not share the same angle as one across the street. On a larger table, those changes in perspective help separate pieces with nearly identical stonework.
