Mont-Saint-Michel at Low Tide jigsaw puzzle
Mont-Saint-Michel rises from the low-tide flats, with the abbey and spire catching the last warm light. Below it, stone houses crowd around the ramparts in small uneven rows. The walls are bright on one side and cool in the shadows, which makes the island easier to break into sections.
The foreground is all wet sand, shallow pools and winding channels. A clear reflection of the abbey sits in the largest pool, broken by ripples and darker ridges in the mud. Seaweed-covered rocks add rough green patches along the left side. The sky has soft peach clouds, while the distant shoreline stays low and quiet across the horizon.
