Limestone Chapel among Olive Trees

The small limestone chapel sits among old olive trees, its arched doorway set into rough pale blocks. A simple bell opening breaks the roofline, while dry grass reaches the uneven path. Silver leaves flicker around the walls in warm afternoon light.

Build the chapel from the doorway and roof before sorting the blockwork. Stones vary in size and warmth, with dark seams giving them their boundaries. Olive leaves are narrow and reflective, unlike the flatter straw-colored grass. The doorway shadow is a compact dark group that can anchor the building once its arch is complete.
