Ski Lodge Race Course

A groomed slalom course drops past a timber lodge beneath a clear range of snow-covered peaks. Red and blue gates zigzag across the slope, with safety netting following both edges and one skier carving a small turn near the pine trees. Sunlight warms the lodge balconies while cool shadows hold the corduroy ridges in the snow.

The nearest gates are strong color markers and establish the direction of the course straight away. Dark firs divide the open slope from the layered mountains, while rooflines and railings create a busier block on the right. Fine ski tracks, fence posts and changing snow texture make the wide white foreground detailed enough to solve without relying on a blank expanse.
