Steam Train in the Highlands

The viaduct curves across the valley, so its arches narrow and overlap as they recede. The train follows that curve in a thin dark line above the stone. Smoke drifts away in a softer shape, with patches of hillside showing through its edges. Below the arches, the river winds between green banks and exposed rocks. Pale stone occurs in both places, but the masonry has straighter joints than the valley floor.
