Steam Train through Autumn Hills

A dark steam train crosses a high stone bridge above a rocky river in the middle of the autumn hills. Copper trees gather around the arches, and the carriages follow the locomotive in a long horizontal line. Smoke lifts into the pale sky, while distant ridges fade from russet to muted blue beyond the lake.

The bridge is a strong route through the lower half, with three arches and different patches of light on the stone. Build the locomotive next, then use the carriage windows to keep the train together. Autumn foliage repeats in many places, but the nearer trees have sharper leaves and darker trunks than the distant slopes. The river and smoke leave softer sections for the final pieces.
