Swimming Lane at First Light

First light reaches an empty indoor pool through tall windows above the water. Red, white and blue lane ropes run towards the far end, where pale trees show through the glass. A dark blue line travels along the tiled floor beneath the nearest lane, while reflections turn the surface into broken strips of gold and turquoise. A stainless ladder anchors the left side.

The ropes make useful starting lines, but each one has its own sequence of floats. Work next through the mosaic tiles, window frames and broad deck reflections. Small ripples interrupt the clean geometry across the water. The pool floor is darker below the nearest lane and fades towards the bright end, giving the puzzle a gradual change in tone.
