Tiger in Tall Grass

Warm morning light reaches a Bengal tiger as it walks through tall grass at the edge of a forest. Its head is turned forward, with bright eyes, white cheek fur and dark facial markings clearly visible between the stems. A curved tail trails behind the striped body while tree trunks, low leaves and patches of bare earth fill the shaded distance.

Orange fur provides a strong route through the middle, though every section changes as black stripes cross the shoulders, legs and flank. Fine whiskers and pale fur make the face rewarding to assemble, while individual grass blades create tighter work around the paws. In the background, bands of sunlight separate tangled greenery from brown bark and soft soil without leaving any broad area short of detail.
