Warm Bread and Herbs on a Kitchen Board

The loaf's cracked crust gives you plenty of irregular edges to start with. Rosemary forms a narrow green group along the right, and the butter dish adds a pale curved landmark. Follow the board's front edge before sorting the flour patches around it. The linen folds change direction as they cross the corner. Leave the bowls and bright window light for later, when the stronger foreground textures are in place.
