Woven Stripes in Berry and Cream

Berry, cream and plum stripes run across a thick woven textile spread over a wooden worktable. The crossing threads make each band slightly uneven, while a folded corner gathers the fabric into deep ridges on the right. Frayed ends trail over the edge beside a wooden shuttle and loose balls of yarn.

The broad cream bands are a useful first group, but their weave changes where the cloth bends. Plum stripes have darker crossings that can be matched by texture rather than hue. Build the folded corner next, following the shadows between its raised layers. The shuttle and yarn add small hard shapes in the background. Leave the loose fringe for last, when the direction of every thread is easier to read.
